About Me

Hi! I'm Valerie Navarro
Just a small-town girl from the valley who loves to travel and experience different cultures.
I grew up in the small town of Tehachapi, California, surrounded by beautiful mountain views, all four seasons, a close-knit community, and most importantly, the chaos of my big family. As one of seven siblings, I took on the role of the oldest at home at the age of 12, after my two older sisters moved out for college. This role taught me leadership, perseverance, the value of hard work, and the importance of providing my younger siblings with a shoulder to lean on whenever they needed it.
Six years later, I decided to follow in my sister's footsteps and attend the University of San Diego. Now, I am a recent graduate from USD and have completed my Bachelor's of Business Administration in International Business and Marketing. My time at USD has given me the opportunity to explore creative approaches to marketing and develop strategies that will connect people across cultures hopefully making a positive impact, especially in underserved communities.
My love for traveling and exploring different cultures came to life in the Fall of 2023 after studying abroad in Spain. This was the most rewarding experience of my undergraduate career. There is still so much of the world I want to see and learn about, and I am excited for the many adventures to come.

More About Me
Throughout my academic career at USD I’ve developed a unique perspective on how brands can authentically resonate with people from all walks of life. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, which helps me build meaningful connections in multilingual environments and develop campaigns that reflect the richness of global cultures.
I specialize in creating inclusive, innovative strategies that not only capture attention but also foster genuine engagement. Whether I’m leading a social media campaign, crafting content strategies, or collaborating on PR initiatives, I’m committed to helping brands tell their stories in ways that inspire, empower, and connect.
When I’m not working on campaigns, you’ll find me at the beach with a book in hand or traveling to new cities hoping to uncover hidden gems.
I hope we can connect and make an impact on communities that need it the most!
